Just a week before the college basketball season begins and the Big Ten Conference has finally released a schedule 2020-21.
The conference slate is 20 games deep for each school, beginning with Penn State at Michigan on December 13. With the possibility of missing games due to COVID-19, the schedule is built with two sets of collapsible byes during the weeks of January 18-21 and January 25-28, and the weeks of February 22-25 and March 1-5.
Seven Big Ten teams are ranked in the Associated Press preseason Top-25: Iowa (4), Wisconsin (7), Illinois (8), Michigan State (13), Ohio State (23), Rutgers (24), and Michigan (25).
Nebraska opens the season December 21 at Wisconsin. The home opener is against Michigan on Christmas Day.
The Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament will be played March 10-14 at the United Center in Chicago.
The non-conference schedule for the Huskers has yet to be released. Nebraska’s full conference schedule is below.
