By News Dec 6, 2020 | 8:16 PM

For the second consecutive game this season, Nebraska was tested in the early parts of the game. Just like the first time around, the Huskers took over as the game went on.

Nebraska (2-0) shot just 27.8-percent in the first half to trail Idaho State (1-1) by one at the break. Then the shooting came alive as Kate Cain made all three of her shots in the third quarter and Ashley Scoggin made two of her game-high four 3s.

The Huskers shot 44.8-percent in the second half while holding the Bengals to just three made shots in the fourth quarter to pull out a 64-51 victory.

A game after having six players in double figures, only two Huskers did so this time out.

Scoggin led all scorers with 16 points. Annika Steward pitched in 15 points.

Nebraska hosts Illinois Thursday as the Big Ten Conference schedule gets an early season start.
