No. 5 Nebraska (12-2) downing Iowa (3-12) is nothing new—the Huskers have beaten the Hawkeyes every time they have meet in 33 matches—but doing so for a milestone victory makes the Saturday victory something special.
Coach John Cook earned his 600th win over his 21 years as the head coach of Nebraska. The victory came in dominant fashion, a 25-14, 20, 13 sweep of a conference foe.
The Huskers hit a season-best .397 while holding Iowa to a season-worst .013 hitting. Jazz Sweet and Lexi Sun led Nebraska with 12 kills each. Nicklin Hames added 31 assists.
Nebraska is at Michigan (4-5) Thursday and Friday.
