New Music and New Tour Dates for Reba

By Lisa Williams Oct 11, 2021 | 12:17 PM

The past few days have been very busy for Reba McEntire.  On October 8th she released a boxed set entitled Revived Remixed Revisited.  On October 11th she added more tour dates including a stop in Omaha in February 2022.

Reba has been releasing music for over 40 years and she has selected some of her biggest songs to be on her 3 album box set to present to you in a whole new way.  Revived means the songs have been rerecorded with her touring band and feature the ways the songs have evolved through their live shows.  It begins with her first ever hit “Can’t Even Get The Blues” and concludes with her song “Fancy”.

Remixed also ends with “Fancy” but has a completely different sound.  This set of ten tracks have been remixed into club dance songs.  You will be singing loudly and dancing to some of your favorites.

The third and final version of songs is Revisited.  These songs have been stripped back to an acoustic version.  This also features perhaps my favorite track of this whole collection, a duet with Reba’s hero Dolly Parton on her 1993 hit “Does He Love You”.  This one also ends with “Fancy”.  In one of her promo videos Reba said “It’s not over until the redhead sings “Fancy””

Things are far from over for Reba who is already talking new music and a new album. She is completing her residency with Brooks and Dunn in Las Vegas.  She has a holiday movie coming out in November that will feature new Christmas Music.  She has also added more dates to her 2022 tour.

February 4, 2022 she will be coming to CHI Health Center in Omaha.  Tickets go on sale Friday October 15th.  Find the link at our concert page at krny.com.

I have listened to the boxed set several times but I will be ordering my own copy.  I have seen Reba LIVE once before, but that was almost 28 years ago, so I believe it is time to go see her perform again.
