A fire destroyed a room and damaged others at the LR Ranch Motel Monday morning.
The Lexington Clipper-Herald reports that at around 11 am, Lexington Volunteer Fire reported to the motel for the report of a room on fire.
No one was in the room on fire as firefighters entered, or in the surrounding rooms.
Firefighters began to leave around an hour after they had arrived.
Room 30 is likely a total loss. No estimates on the cost of damage have been released.
The blaze is still under investigation by the state fire marshal
