One person is in serious condition following a crash that closed one lane of I-80 yesterday.
The crash, which involved two semis happened at around 9 am Tuesday when one semi rear-ended another on I-80 mile marker 262 near Odessa. The semi at the rear then jack-knifed into the ditch.
The driver of the rear semi was transported to CHI Good Samaritan in Kearney for serious injuries and was later flown to an Omaha hospital. The other semi-driver was uninjured.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
