KEARNEY – CHI Health Clinic Heart Institute in Kearney is excited to welcome board certified interventional cardiologist Daniel J. McGowan, MD, FACC, Tammy Price-Fowlkes, MSN, APRN and the team at Central Nebraska Cardiology.
After 24 years serving the community, Dr. McGowan’s practice will join the established clinic and will relocate from the first, to the second floor of the Medical Building at Good Samaritan. Dr. McGowan will serve as medical director of CHI Health Clinic Heart Institute.
“Both institutions provide superior cardiac care upholding the highest standard of ethics. We both utilize state-of-the-art technology in a compassionate and cost effective manner. By joining forces, we are stronger, better and our patients will benefit from an experienced and collaborative care team, in addition to conveniences like shared medical records,” said Dr. McGowan.
On Oct. 23, Dr. McGowan, Price-Fowlkes and team will begin seeing patients at CHI Health Clinic Heart Institute, 3219 Central Ave., Suite 201 in the Medical Building attached to the north side of the hospital. The elevators inside Door 7, adjacent to parking Lot B, will take patients to the second floor clinic.
Central Nebraska Cardiology will close at the end of business on October 22.
The team will continue providing clinical outreach in Ord, Cozad, Ainsworth, Atkinson, Bassett, Norton Kan. and Oberlin Kan.
At the institute, Dr. McGowan and Price-Fowlkes join board certified Drs. Pankaj Kulshrestha, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery; Franz Murphy, vascular surgery; Cardiologists Panchal, Roy and Waters; and Advance Practice Nurses Kristen Hiatt, Kirby Knuth and Lucinda Moore.
