KEARNEY — A three vehicle accident took place near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 11th Street during the morning hours of Wednesday, Oct. 25.
Just before 8 a.m., an accident with injuries was reported near 2nd Ave. and 11th St., the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department and CHI Good Samaritan Ambulance Services responded to the scene.
On scene, a Chevrolet Cruze with heavy front-end damage was stopped west of the 2nd Ave. and 11th St. intersection, on 11th St. facing west.
Two other vehicles had pulled off the roadway in the parking lot of a strip mall on 3rd Ave.
The Kearney Police Department said the three-vehicle accident occurred in a chain reaction while they were westbound.
No one from the scene was transported to the hospital, according to the KPD.
The accident remains under investigation.
