The squad is chosen by the league’s 12 head coaches’ and they cannot vote for their own players.

Davis (Wichita), a midfielder, was chosen to the third-team with Pagel (Aurora, Colo.), a defender, receiving honorable mention accolades. Davis earned h.m. honors in 2022 and becomes one of only 11 Lopers to be named All-MIAA twice in a career.

Tied for the team lead in points with six, Davis appeared in all 18 games and was one of five Lopers to reach the 1,000-minute mark (1,199). She had two goals, two assists with her 14 shots ranking second on the team. Finally, Davis is one of just eight Lopers to reach 70 career games played (doesn’t include the 2021 COVID spring season).

A transfer from North Dakota State, Pagel started all 18 games, one of four Loper to do so. Logging 1,284 minutes, she had five points on a goal and three assists and was part of a defense that had three shut outs and held four others to a single goal.

This pair helped UNK be in contention for a MIAA Tournament spot until the final day of the regular season. The Lopers finished up 3-13-2 (2-7-2), tripling their win total from the year before and scoring nine more goals.

The Blue & Gold begins winter workouts soon with the 2024 spring season slated for March.
