NEBRASKA – The Nebraska high school football playoffs continue tonight with teams across the state aiming to punch their ticket to championship matchups.
In Class A, #1 Omaha Westside hosts #5 Millard West while #2 Millard South battles #3 Elkhorn South. Class B’s top seed Bennington will host upstart Elkhorn North, and #2 Waverly hosts #3 Omaha Skutt Catholic.
Class C1 features #1 Wahoo hosting #4 Sidney for a 3:30 PM kickoff, and #2 Boone Central takes on #3 Ashland-Greenwood. In Class C2 Norfolk Catholic faces Fillmore Central and Ord hosts Yutan.
8-Man football features plenty of underdogs, as #1 Stanton travels to #5 Sandy Creek, and #3 Crofton takes on #7 Exeter-Milligan-Friend in Class D1. Class D2 features #4 South Loup traveling to Dunning to face #9 Sandhills-Thedford. #11 Howells-Dodge travels to #2 Wynot.
Finally in 6-man action, #1 SEM hosts #5 Wilcox-Hildreth in Sumner, and Parkview Christian takes on Hay Springs in Lincoln.
