GRAND ISLAND — The Hall County Sheriff’s Office and Grand Island Police Department received grants to carry out additional seatbelt enforcement.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Department was awarded $3,171.68 and the Grand Island Police Department received $4,936.48 to carry out the Selective Overtime Enforcement for the Buckle Up, Every Trip, Every Time mobilization campaign from Nov. 22 – 26, 2023.
This enforcement will target seatbelt usage to help reduce fatal and serious injury crashes in Nebraska, Hall County, and Grand Island.
