KEARNEY – Singlet Night was a split affair for the Bearcat faithful, as the Kearney High School wrestling teams ended with a girls win and boys loss to the visiting Columbus Discoverers on Thursday night.
The Bearcat girls won over Columbus via a tiebreaker, winning over forfeits although the dual ended in a 42-42 tie.
The Discoverer boys upset Kearney 36-29 winning the Top Ten matchup.
Kearney is back in action today taking on the Younes Hospitality Duals at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.
