“The Farm” – 2024 Concert Ticket Promotion
These contest rules are specific to The Farm (the “Contest”) on KRNY conducted by NRG Media, LLC d/b/a Y102 Nebraska’s Hot Country, KRNY-FM (the “Station”). Except to the extent specifically set forth below with respect to this specific contest, the Station’s general contest rules apply to this contest as well. A copy of these specific contest rules and the Station’s general contest rules are available at the Station’s studio at 2233 Central Ave, Kearney, NE, during regular business hours and on the contest page on the Station’s website at www.krny.com/contest-rules. These rules are intended to supplement the General Contest rules, however, to the extent that the general contest rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this Contest.
Contest Period: 12:00AM April 1st, 2024 – 8:00AM June 14th, 2024
The contest is open to individuals who are at least 19 years old and who reside within 75 miles of the Station’s studio.
- HOW TO ENTER
- ON-AIR: Listen for the cue to call between 6am and 6pm Monday through Friday on 102.3 and call the studio line at 308-698-2102.
- TEXT: Listen the 102.3 for different keywords to text the text line at 308-698-2102.
- ONLINE: Enter via the contest portal online at krny.com/the-farm/ up to one time per day per user.
- HOW AND WHEN THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN:
- On Friday, June 14th, listen to the ScottyO Show in the 9AM hour on 102.3. There will be five semi-finalists drawn from the on-air entrants, five from the text entrants, and five from the online entrants.
- Only one semi-finalist entry per person, per household, regardless of how you enter. If the same person is drawn twice from two different semi-finalist drawings, a different person will be drawn, and the original person will count as one semi-finalist.
- Once we meet 15 unique entrants for the semi-finalist pool, we will draw the Grand Prize winner.
- TOTAL NUMBER OF WINNERS:
- One grand prize winner will be named.
- PRIZE & PRIZE VALUE
- The Grand Prize consists of two (2) tickets to every concert in which Y102 is directly involved as a producer or sponsor from June 17, 2024 to June 13, 2025. Some restrictions apply. Concert tickets are NOT transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Actual value of prize will depend on number of tickets awarded. Value of the total grand prize is dependent on the price of each concert ticket. All complimentary tickets have no commercial value and cannot be resold.
- ADDITIONAL RULES APPLY:
- The winner will be sent a prize fulfillment package. The prize fulfillment package must be completed and postmarked within seven (7) calendar days of receipt, or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to another qualifier, or not awarded. If forfeited, the prize will remain property of the NRG and another winner may not be selected. No alternative prize compensation will be provided. No cash equivalent for the Prize will be awarded. The prize is not transferable by the winner to any person. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for any other prize.
- Y102 promotion staff has final say on availability of concert tickets. The winner will be notified of available concerts and must claim their pair of tickets no later than two weeks prior to the concert. This doesn’t include concerts that are last minute additions to the list within the two-week time frame.
- The prize does not include tickets for concerts that only purchase advertising or are only mentioned on Y102 radio or website and does not include tickets for sporting events.
- The prize does not include an actual farm, land, or livestock.
- Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to NRG, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. The winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state, or local taxes, duties, tariffs, or other fees.
