GRAND ISLAND — A mother was arrested after police say she provided THC products to her 15-year-old son on Thursday, Oct. 10.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, an investigator was assigned a report of a juvenile being provided THC products by his mother and her boyfriend.
The mother, Ashley Slagle, was contacted by the GIPD at her residence.
A search of the home revealed multiple items of paraphernalia, marijuana and methamphetamine, all in Slagle’s bedroom. Police noted Slagle had three children living in the home and were present during the investigation.
A 13-year-old child said they had observed Slagle providing THC products to the 15-year-old sibling. THC gummies and other paraphernalia were also recovered.
Slagle was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and negligent child abuse.
