KEARNEY & GRAND ISLAND – CHI Health is accepting online applications until May 31 for their annual Health Care Career Camp. The free day-camp is scheduled as follows:
- CHI Health St. Francis at 2620 West Faidley Ave., Grand Island on June 7-8 from 8:30am to 4:30pm
- CHI Health Good Samaritan at 10 E. 31st Street, Kearney on June 14-15 from 8:30am to 4:30pm
Incoming Nebraska high school students grades 10, 11 and 12 interested in exploring a health sciences career, excluding veterinary science and dentistry, are invited to apply.
Campers will take part in interactive learning experiences, hands-on activities and tours of more than 13 different areas of their chosen hospital. In addition, a wide variety of health professionals will share their experiences, industry knowledge and recommendations for available health care careers options.
