LINCOLN – Nebraska Volleyball continues to chase Wisconsin, and has begun to close the gap – at least in the latest edition of the AVCA Rankings – moving up to No. 2 and receiving two first place votes.

The Badgers are No. 1 for the fourth consecutive week, receiving 62 of the 64 first place votes. Both Wisconsin and Nebraska remain unblemished on the year.

Nebraska has three ranked wins from their non-conference slate with wins over now rated No. 4 Stanford (7-2), No. 11 Creighton (9-2), and No. 22 Kentucky (2-6).

Other Big Ten teams included in the Top 25 include: Minnesota at No. 12 (No. 9 last week), Penn State at No. 15 (last week at No. 13), No. 19 Purdue (last week at No. 17), and Ohio State at No. 21 (last week at No. 19).

Nebraska hosts No. 21 Ohio State on Friday night and No. 12 Minnesota on Sunday.
