Hamilton Community Foundation seeking nominations for outstanding staff at Aurora Public Schools

AURORA — The Hamilton Community Foundation is currently seeking nominations for outstanding staff at Aurora Public Schools.

Since 2011, the William and Delight Eloe Award for Inspirational Academic Leadership has been presented each year to an outstanding staff member at Aurora Public Schools, according to the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.

The recipient is also presented with a generous cash stipend in honor of their dedication to serving the youth of Aurora.

“The $1,500 award is presented to an Aurora Public Schools teacher or administrator who demonstrates inspirational academic leadership; exceptional classroom teaching effectiveness; administrative professionalism; professional growth; and/or excellent public relations with students, parents, peers, alumni, and other constituents,” the Hamilton Community Foundation stated.

The recipient is recognized at the annual Aurora Public School Teachers Luncheon each May.

Students, parents, colleagues and community members may submit nominations.
