Broken Bow Athletics
BROKEN BOW – Broken Bow High School Athletics will offer a new varsity sport for the 2024-25 school year after the school board approved the addition of girls wrestling during Monday’s meeting.
The vote was unanimous for approval for the new athletic addition.
Several area programs, schools, and communities have added girls wrestling over the past three years – including Kearney High School last season. Area teams that already had programs surrounding the largest school district in Custer County included: Ansley-Litchfield, Anselmo-Merna, Arcadia/Loup City, South Loup, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, among others.
A head coach has not yet been identified.
