KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Public Works Department announces that concrete work will take place at the intersection of 2nd Avenue at 23rd Street beginning Monday, Aug. 26, at 7 a.m.
Southbound traffic will be shifted to the outside lane, as the inside lane will be closed. Both the northbound and southbound left-turn lanes on 2nd Avenue at 23rd Street will be closed to traffic.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Thursday, Aug. 29. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes if possible to avoid the area. Please use caution, stay off cell phones, and obey all traffic warning signs.
