GRAND ISLAND — Two subjects were arrested after a traffic stop by the Nebraska State Patrol for being connected to damage and theft of an ATM at a Grand Island bank.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, Equitable Bank reported on Thursday, Sept. 18 that an unknown person entered the ATM and caused damage to the machine.
When staff inspected ATM, it was confirmed that the hard drive was removed and missing.
It was later reported that the Nebraska State Patrol had stopped the suspected offenders during a traffic stop.
Wildermala Marquez Brea and Orlando Mirabal were both arrested for criminal mischief and attempt of a Class 2 felony.
